I'm trying to do this change too (albeit on a Ducato van!)
How do you apply the edited PA file? I've saved it to notepad for safe keeping before modifying but not sure how to apply the changes
My log seems to suggest that I need to change Byte 123 from F6 to F4 (Entertainment Telematic Node - Request out of range)
Any help would be much appreciated
If you are in the Proxy allignment tab, highlight the PROXY ALIGNMENT PROCEDURE (pre selected by default) and press execute in the right bottom corner.
Is that after editing the byte screen? (Sorry, I'm very new to this and can't afford to screw it up and have the van off the road!)
Yes it is
don't have to apologize
So first go to the adjustment section of the proxy alignment tab, then do the necesarry adjustments in your proxy code (control + alt + c), Press ok on your new code, then run the alignment with execute.

Many thanks to abarthmultijet for the guidance............ it looks like its worked!!!
So for anyone else (NOTE- this was on a 2018 Fiat
Ducato!!)
VP1 unit from 2018 Ducato Panel Van: Fiat 250 VP1 ROW. SW Version 07 09 03 01. HW Version F.EU.D3.V23. Part No: 07356825980
VP2 unit from 2020 Ducato Motorhome: Fiat 250 FL VP2 ECE DAB NAV. SW Version 13 00 65 02. HW Version F.EU.D6.V26. Part No: 07356977830
(Roof aerial and wiring changes required)
Proxi Alignment failed on Entertainment Telematic Node (ETM) Failed - Request out of range error
Byte count was already at 250.
PA Log suggested change BTYE 123 from F6 to F4........ this worked for me but user beware!!
Just to confirm, radio unit was switched on during the modified PA, powered itself down after applying the modified PA - and now seems to be working ok.
Mileage has also stopped flashing
