Gentlemen, I have seen the many problems they have faced with the ELM327 interfaces, especially some that seem more sophisticated. I have given here my reports and I only advise to look for the simplest (v1.4 or v1.5), and where possible give preference to cable connection. I bet you will be more satisfied.

Hello Dodo

I do not know this interface
Do you have data on this interface ???
Which operating system do you have on your laptop ??
Which driver do you use ??

And the motor controller and the ABS of your Alfa 159 have no CAN bus
So should connect to these two controllers + ECU (ABS = Adapter1)
without changing the board be possible.

IT DEPENDS!
My Silicon Labs interface uses Silicon Labs driver, each interface must use your correct driver. For the electric power steering Delphi does not need any different connector (http://www.multiecuscan.net/SupportedVehiclesList.aspx) but have registered Multiecuscan.

Hello,

I'm new to this forum but i have the same problem as some here.

The elm327 is the same as blkid and it connects to the pc and phone just fine but not to the ECU, it says it's unable to detect the protocol.
The only thing different is a wire connecting both r5 and r3 to U2.

The car it's a 2003 Nissan Almera.

Can someone please guive any advice?

Best regards,

Hello Tasmo

Your pictures are not good because you can not read components
Search the MCP2551 chip or TJA 1040 and make the environment
a better picture

The driver you get here
http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm
use the 2.10.00

Or this for silicone Labs USB ports as Walter already wrote
http://www.silabs.com/products/mcu/Page ... ivers.aspx

Hello Gaspoia

This is about Italian cars and Multiecuscan
With this software you can not read on your Nissan
Therefore, no patina must be changed.

Use a software package for Nissan
