M1.5.5 connecting failure

Post by fejohn1231 »

Hi all,

I used multiecuscan with Clevo notebook without any problem. I have changed my Clevo to HP 620. On HP I have problem connecting to engine ECU (Alfa 166 2.0 TS Motronic M1.5.5.). Program says "No ECU response". If I connect to ABS or airbag, the connection is create without problem.
I'm using KKL interface with PL2303 serial to USB.

Anybody has an idea?

Thans

Hello

I suspect your serial to usb adapter causes problems

What is your latency time KKL
But trying to set a hook in High Latency Mode

I've found that few serial to usb adapter
can be used

Hello,

For Clevo I used same serial to usb adapter. I tried the High Latency Mode too, and the all possibilites.
Airbag and abs is stable, M1.5.5. no.

I tried also with Unidiag, that show the connection pass to pass. On the start during the initialization, show me DATA ERROR.
So I think that lower speed will be the problem.

PL2303 does not support 10400 bps and needs a registry mod to make it support this speed.
You can search here on the forum or internet for this registry mod.
