Which are the can controllers? I can connect to Engine, Body, Service Interval.. and CANNOT connect to ABS and Airbagmattydr67 wrote:Can you connect into the CAN controlers?
As I see in your pics your tool it is 1.5
The chinese made this version 1.5 which can be version 1.3, 1.4 or in the bad case 1.2
Version 1.2 it is not support by the FES
So in this case you have to go in other CAN car and try to connect using a softwear for ELM327
And if you can connect in a car based on CAn, VW Golf 5, Skoda Octavia II, Ople Insignia, Opel Vectra C/Signium or Astra H etc in this case you have bad luck the tool is version 1.2
Good luck

That's good
ABS it is on PIN 1 you can solder a wire from PIN 7 to Pin 1 and you'll be able to conect to ABS or use the adaptor1
For Airbag on K-line which is on pin 3 even you solder a wire between pin 7 to pin 3 you'll not be able to connect on it becasue the ELM327 dosen't suport Airbags on K-line just the one on CAN
For K-line Airbags you need a Vag kkl interface or a OBDKey interface with the adaptor1
Good luck

I saw the diagrams here http://www.multiecuscan.net/SupportedVehiclesList.aspx but I have a question: where can I get another connector so that I can integrate microswitches on it. I assume by soldering the wires as you suggested will disable other modules is that right? Thanksmattydr67 wrote:That's good

No mate in your tool you can solder toghether pin 1, 7 and 12
But as I told you Airbags it isn't covered by the ELM327
You can use a scwitch and a VAG kkl
for the k-line controler and keep your ELM just for CAN controlers
This if you dosen't want to have separate adaptors
Good luck

Ah, I got it now Thanks a lot.. I was really surprised how de-soldering that resistor has cured it. I will purchase that VAG com cable then. I am eager to try the ABS as I saw a counter of how many times it activated. In some previous version of FES I also saw a max rev counter where can I find that one in the new version?mattydr67 wrote:No mate in your tool you can solder toghether pin 1, 7 and 12

ABS you can try it with you tool ELM
Just open it up and solder the pin 7 with pin4 together
You'll see that you can connect in it
Just for Airbag you need another tool a KKL interface
but for the all others the ELM it is good enough
Good luck

So I connect pins 7 and 4 - I read Airbag and I am still able to connect to all other CAN modules?mattydr67 wrote:ABS you can try it with you tool ELM

Sorry
Solder together pins 1,7 and 12
For controlers on k-line
CAN use other pins and you said that it works
For Airbag you need another tool
Good luck

Hello everyone, sorry for my English but I am Italian.
They are holding a spear Ypsilon 1.3 Mjet of 2008.
I wanted to know what cables I need to maximize the potential of multiecuscan.
thanks
