ESP function will be disabled when i find ecu

Post by xpau »

hi,

I have an registred copy of Multiecuscan 3.3 and when launching find ecu (F11), the ESP going to disabled.
I have a freemont mjet 140 cv.
I also tried the adapter n° 3, always using lm327 v.1.4. I'm doing well?

You shouldn't need any adaptor cables when you are running the module scan.
The Freemont isn't listed as supported yet though, so you may not find any coverage.

With regards to systems being disabled while they are scanned, this is normal I think.
On my GPunto when the system is scanning the ABS, the dashboard brings up a warning that it's disabled. When the scan finishes it's enabled again.

It's normal when You try to connect with ESP/ASR/ABS and EPS ECUs, the ECU goes to service mode.

I suppose that in Freemount is high speed can, You can only connect with correct adapter type.
