ohh that would be ashame.

the car is built in 1999, is that one of the years those non supported modules where used ?
where can I locate it in the car ? maybe it has a model number on it and I can post that.
if it is a non supported module...any chance that it will be supported in a coming release of multiecuscan ?

Hi there.

I have same problem, 156 v6 from 1999. FES will not connect to the airbag ECU, have tried with two ECU's in my car, but no luck there. The ECU i guess is a "Delphi" type?:


I have tried Fiat ECU scan on two other alfa 156's (1.8TS from 1998 ans 2.0JTS from 2006 i guess) here it works fine.

Is there some other software that will work with this ECU type or should i go to Alfa Romeo i figure they have a tool to reset this fucker.

Where is the airbag ecu located in the car...I would like to see if I have the same model installed.

The climate control is read at 156 to the pin on 9th
But in my Alfa 156 has no air conditioning installed
And for the older 156 is the air conditioning of Harrison and the FES can
not yet read
For this purpose we must use a different software.

The airbag control unit is mounted on the center console, making the footwell
The carpet covering over the tunnel and you can see the control unit

This fuck airbag system all with the Nr 707 use a allied signal which is not supported by fes and also AlfaOBD doesnt support it.

Also Examiner did not read it 3 airbag ECU all the same Fiat Examiner can not read it!! unbelievable!!! Thats the reason why FES doesnt support it no machine can read it, unable to be copied

Solution update to a new ecu system from 2003.
