My ECU details:
Software number: 1037363753
Software version: 9241
ECU programming date: 05/06/2002

Are you sure that it's not possible to update the Software version? I'm pretty sure there must be an option to upgrade it....
I'm positive.. If there is an update, it's not going to fix the bug.
Yesterday I installed my new ECU and now the MAF value is correct.

If you're smart you'll give up now before it begins to cost money ;)
Don't worry about it

still messed up. I've been told that, most likely, my speedometer is faulty.. Didn't had the chance to test an other unit..
