Fiat Stilo 02 unable to clear air-bag error

This has previously worked with different version of this program, but the error has comeback and now I am unable to clear or even see the error when I connect.

What do you mean?
You cannot connect to the airbag? Or you can connect but the program shows no errors in the airbag module?

Previously i would connect and just clear errors and the Airbag error would be one of these, i am still able to connect and clear most errors but airbag one doesn't seem to be there and the light stays on and beeps everytime i switch on the ignition, When my battery goes dead this airbag error always appears and in the past (last year) i would just connect laptop clear error and it would be gone, however now this has happened since i switched my battery last Month and error comes on everytime ...

No Code error other than airbag error or failure.. its caused by passenger seat sensor...

It is very common problem on Fiat Stilos... If you have problem with passenger seat occupant sensor, than you have 3 solutions:
- buy new passenger seat occupant sensor
- buy EMULATOR for passenger seat occupant sensor - you can find it on eBay
- ignore the AIRBAG failure problem

For people in the UK that's not an option from next year.
The 2012 MOT test includes a check that the airbag light comes on when you turn the key (so no taking out the bulb!), and then turns off as it should.
It's to do with new EU regulations, so the same will probably be true of vehicle tests across the whole EU before very long.

Of course! I agree with you completely! In the EU it is and some Balkan regions there are official technical inspection which is checking cars completely which includes also this electronic check (all lamps on the dashboard should be off when car engine is running)... They also do the mechanical check, tires check and other checks...
Example: If the airbag light is ON then you can not pass the technical inspection check, which means you can not drive the car because it is not registration for next year or two depends from the country!

I know we live in the Balkan, but we are not that bad... We have laws too...
