alfa 159 immobilizer

hello yani, a few weeks ago i try to flah my ecu for chiptuning. and now the engine will not start.in my dashborad is the sign for the immobilzer. its possible to release this in the next version of fes.best regards

LOL... there is nothing wrong with the immobilizer.

Your checksum is not OK, that is the problem ;)

Flash back the original file.

Hello I try to flash back the original file. But it's failed . I have no ideas , what I can do .

hello, i flash my ecu with mpps flasher. today i was at the fiat shop. the mechanic try to read my alfa 159 with the examiner and he says that the bodycomputer has no communication with the ecu.he mean my ecu is damaged. regards :cry: :(

If the MPPS is older than v5 then it will f++ck up the ECU while writing checksum. But most of the time you can still write the original file back.

But I guess in your case you must have had some problems during writing, an error that didn't complete the flash successfully.
So the only solution now is to go to someone who has BDM, let him read your ECU, give him your original file that you read with MPPS, and he will be able to reconstruct the files toghther. Then he will write them to the ECU with BDM.

I think that is the solution for you. Dont go buying new ECU until you will try that.

You can also buy a simple clone BDM100 for 50€ and do it yourself, if you think you are skilled enough.

No, never heard of digiflasher...

MPPS is quite reliable on those ECUs, if you have you computer set up properly and you use v5.

I have flashed at least 50 times on that ECUs without problems.
