As the early Puntos are notorious for Power Steering Failure
is there any chance of adding diagnostics for the power
steering for 99- Punto at some time. If there is any chance
of steering reset for when a new rack is fitted that would be
even better.

I answered the same question less than a day ago!!! And it is even on the next thread!
YaniThe power steering ECU in Punto mk2 needs CAN connection. My program does not support CAN yet.
My wife has Punto mk2 and this ECU will be one of the first to be added to the program after I'm ready with the support for CAN.

If something doesn't hit me in the face I often miss it.
Seems funny that some cars like the stilo 1.8 which I presume
is canbus and I have to use my Elm327 1.3 on to reset the service
reset on uses the kkl for steering while the older punto uses canbus
for the steering module. We now have a 2000 8v 1.2 punto, a 2004
1.4 Punto Sporting, and a 2003 1.8 Stilo all petrol.
A kkl usb diagnostic and a Gendan Elm 327 to try things on.
