Mito 1.6 - Invalid ISO Code

Post by jl07 »

hi

I have a problem using FES in Alfa Romeo Mito, and i need some help to solve.

with Bosch EDC16C39 CF5/EOBD Diesel Injection (1.6, 2.0) i can connect but always with INVALID ISO CODE and i can't execute anything, and i tried in 4 different cars and 2 different ELM's (one is the metal box "1.5a" and the another one is de plastic box bluetooth)
i tried on 1.4 TURBO 16V (Bosch Motronic Me7.9.10 CF5/EOBD Injection) and 1.3 (Marelli 8DF CF5/EOBD Diesel Injection) and works fine.

Also works fine with ABS (Bosch ABS 8 ESP) and Electric Power Steering (Delphi Electric Steering) but with the remaining modules i can't connect even with modified interface (adapter cable 3) except on module Valeo XENON headlamp

Thanks in advance, and sorry for my poor english.

Ok, so the problem is that for some reason Multiecuscan cannot read the ISO code from the ECU.
Please send me a report after connecting and disconnecting to your car (using the red Send Report button on Multiecuscan main screen). I will check why it doesn't read the ISO code.

There are 2 possible reasons:
1. Faulty adapter 3. You can measure the connections between the pins and see if it is ok. But I'm almost sure that there is no problem with the adapter.
2. Problem with the interface. I'm almost sure that this is the problem as it is very common and happens with most of the Chinese interfaces lately.
It can be fixed easily. See the following topic:
