can't connect to my ABS ECU with VAG cable

Hi Folks i have a VAG-KKL cable with the four dip switch which i originally brought to clear an airbag light, and the cable connected first time and cleared it no problem and has stayed off (touch wood) all good very happy:).

two weeks later i now get messages and failure lights for ESP,ABS and Hill holder failure for my Punto 04 1.8 HGT. i tried to connect with the cable and making sure i used the correct dip switches and it would not connect with any of these ECU's

please please if anyone has any ideas why it wont connect please reply.
