Auto Saving Log File
Auto Saving Log File
The current implementation for auto saving log files only saves the files once logging has been stopped. Would it be possible for the log files to be continaully be written to? This way I could read the values and then use them in a 3rd party application.

Do you have FREE or REGISTERED version of FES software?
If you have REGISTERED version of FES software, FES automatically is saving all data on each car/module/system and each time when you connect!

I've got the registered version, and yes it does autosave the log file, but only at the END of logging (i.e. when you press stop) what I want is for it to continually save to the log file (during recording) so that I can pull out the values from the log file in real time, not just at the end.

Re: Auto Saving Log File
I know what you mean! I need that option sometimes too...
Maybe you can do this (I use this option):
- connect to the car,
- read the error codes,
- read the parameter or values,
- then disconnect from the car.
Open report and then again:
- connect to the car,
- read and delete the error codes,
- and then again read the values and parameters,
- compare them.
Sometimes you can use a graph and there you can see values much clearly...
