Porting an .NET application to Windows Mobile is a relatively easy task, requiring a very little coding but mainly GUI re-designing. Porting to another OS basically means writing a new application from scratch and in different programming language.

That's why, from the beginning I'm surprised that FES is not written in Java.
Usually, I use Linux. Especially to use FES i have to switch to Windows.

If you plan to sell software you've created it makes sense for it to run on the most popular OS, Windows.

Re: Will there be an Android Version?
I had already bought the program would be if it was either Mac OS or for android.
Program is super, but to lose such a market as an android in my opinion is inexcusable.

Maybe it's the most common, but it's dying and it's a crap !!!Shadeyman wrote:If you plan to sell software you've created it makes sense for it to run on the most popular OS, Windows.
Android and iOS will give a lot more customers...
I agree that it's easy to port from .NET to WinMo, but in fact it's almost useless if this is your business. Android and i**** are growing too much.
