Anyone else had problems with 2.8.1

I downloaded 2.8.1 today and loaded it onto my Acer one netbook running
windows XP as normal - not unistalling the older version and installing the new version.
Only to find that 2.8.1 will not run if I unistall and re install program the same happens.

Will try and post more details tomorrow of the warning box.

May have to format the hard drive and reinstall the operation system
again.

The problem is in the version of .NET Framework which you have installed on your PC.
You need .NET Framework 2.0 with SP1.
