Re: Programming the remote in test mode
Is there any option to programm new Remote Control in Alfa 147 1,9JTD ori is it possible only for Fiat ?
Re: Programming the remote in test mode
Just one note - DO NOT DO IT WITH A BLUETOOTH ELM INTERFACE. There is a big timing problem with these bluetooth interfaces.

Great program! I have the free version of multiecuscan and I am a newcomer to Fiats too. I have a Stilo JTD 1.9 2004 53 reg.
What has led me to this program is the feature of programming the remote locking.
I already have a PLX kiwi bluetooth OBD interface, which is one of the better bluetooth adaptors on the market. It seems to work ok with multiecuscan with my
brief experiements on it and reads live data smoothly with no timing delays yet.
So my question is, I have bought a second hand key off ebay which I want to program the remote locking with. Based on your warning above, do I risk damaging something or is the risk it just will not work? I would like to try since I have the kit any way, before I consider buying an expensive cable from gendan and paying to register the software.
Thanks
Mike

This information is outdated. The newer versions of Multiecuscan work very well with the bluetooth ELM 327 interface.Mike S wrote:So my question is, I have bought a second hand key off ebay which I want to program the remote locking with. So, the answer to your question is - YES, you can use the bluetooth ELM interface to program the keys. I've done this many times to my Stilo for testing with no problems at all.
