auto lights function????

how can you tell if you car has this feature (apart from th obvious answer!) i mean where is the sensor?

fiat stilo 1.6 16v active 03 plate!

I believe the sensor is on the back of the rear view mirror bracket and can be seen when standing at the front of the car.
