Please send a report (using the red "Send Report" button on main screen of Multiecuscan) after reading these errors.
I'll try to see if it is a bug in the program and the errors have other codes.

Ok, I see the report.

You have only one error:

REAR LEFT WHEEL SENSOR
The speed signal of the indicated wheel is missing or wrong.
Check:
1) the wheel sensor and the associated wiring to the ABS ECU for opens, shorts and weak connections, and the ECU for proper ground.
2) the sensor continuity and resistance
3) the ECU ground connection
4) the air gap between sensor and impulse ring
5) the impulse ring and sensor to have no signs of damage or deformation, and to be free of magnetic dust
6) the wheel bearing for excessive play
NOTE:
1) It is ESSENTIAL that all the rims and tires are of the same size, as specified by the manufacturer, and that the tires have correct pressure and show uniform wear
2) using an Oscilloscope to check the signal gives an excellent visual reference of the signal integrity and enables easy comparison between the wheel sensors.
3) this code may be set if a wheel is rotated independently when the car is lifted up and the Key is ON

I did dismantle rear left wheel/hub, removed sensor, cleaned everything...
Looks quite OK, cable as well, no visible damages.

Tried again, but still have active error :(
I sent another report, if you have time please see if anything has changed...

Tnx in advance!

Hi,

You can disconnect the sensor from the abs unit and hook it up to a multimeter (it would be better an oscilloscope but i suppose you don't have one at home :) ) and check this out for more detail for how to check it http://www.topbuzz.co.uk/maintenance/te ... ng_abs.htm. It's not for your car but you should be able to get the general idea for how it's done.

It is still giving the same error about rear left wheel.

I searched the original Fiat documentation about Teves Mk20/70.
This is what the documentation says about this error:

Byte error 3: Left rear wheel
bit 7: N.U.
bit 6: N.U.
bit 5: Disturbed speed signal
bit 4: ABS/EBD continuous check detected
bit 3: Wrong speed comparison
bit 2: High frequency disturbance (active
sensors)
bit 1: Extrapolation
bit 0: Continuity

You have error code 01 in this byte 3, which means "Continuity" in "rear left wheel". I don't know what exactly "continuity" means in this case. The english documentation is translated from Italian and sometimes it is not making sense.

It sounds like the wire is broken or shorting out - 'continuity'.
I would check the wiring loom to the sensor.

Best regards

Did you test Multiecuscan 2.7.1?
I updated the error codes for Teves ABS MK20/70.
