Error in the SUPPORTED VEHICLES / SYSTEMS?

Post by Alfaeddy »

Hello
I think I've discovered an error in the list.
In the case of older vehicles' 98 to read out the ECU is a 3 pin adapter needed.
this is also required for ABS or AIRBAG.

Accordingly, the information in the list A1 (ABS) or A2 (air bag) not be accurate.

Greetings Eddy

I agree with you...
There are so many cars that are made untill 2000 and most of them have 3 pin connector for engine, ABS and AIRBAG...

There is another bug in FES 2.7!
In settings menu there is a "help option" and when you click on it the software is helping you which specific adapter you need to use when you want to connect to ENGINE, ABS, AIRBAG...
On my Alfa Romeo 156, from 2000, 1.9JTD (77kW) it is always asking me to connect "3 pin adapter". But all Alfas 156 have 16 pin connector - there is no 3 pin socket! :D
The problem is, I guess, that older Alfas 145 or 146 have the same engine with "3 pin connector"!
So Yani it would be good if can make some corrections... ;)

Or FES is telling you to use obd2 cable with pin 3 connected for diagnose. This would be the case if you are trying to connect airbag Ecu.

I don't think so! For AIRBAG you need a "A2 - ADAPTER CABLE 2"! ;)
