GENDAN creates FIAT ECUSCAN Hardware/Cable Set
Re: GENDAN creates FIAT ECUSCAN Hardware/Cable Set
This error means that there is a problem with the signals on CAN network.
Check if your battery is ok. The ELM interfaces are unstable when the power supply is low.
Check if the OBD connector is plugged in well.
Send a report using the red "Send Report" button after unsuccessfull connection so that I can check the problem.

WOW, thanks for sharing this info!
Sometimes I'm very lazy, and seriously I wasn't that happy to modify my cable...again!
I'm really thinking to buy those 3 adapters

error report sent, i left battery charging by engine running for half hour whilst i looked for new cable so i could get wi-fi out side, didn't have time to check it with a meter as bonnet cable is snapped so i have to get that open first

Re: GENDAN creates FIAT ECUSCAN Hardware/Cable Set
did you get the error report?
Re: GENDAN creates FIAT ECUSCAN Hardware/Cable Set
Yes, I got the report...
Unfortunately, I cannot say anything more about your problem. The ELM interface simply fails to connect or disconnects from the body computer. It could be low power as I already mentioned, or bad cable connections, bad earths. I don't think that it is a problem in the driver or settings.
You can try to connect to another car and see if everything will work fine there or not.

Re: GENDAN creates FIAT ECUSCAN Hardware/Cable Set
I charged battery for problem car it read 13.9 volts after i let it settle after charging, put it back in the car and dash display stopped flashing so i didn't need proxi alignment after all
how ever since i tested it on my own car i have throttle learn problem have i messed some thing up? i connected it again to my car to try and run proxi alignment but it failed, i sent new error report
