HITACHI MFi-018 support?
As the title says is there aby chance to include this ecu in the Fiat ECU Scan's list?
It's from a 1996 1.8 16v Fiat Coupe?
Or at least send me the code for the mpi one and i'll give it a go at modifying it and if I am succesful I will solve my problem and you will get an addon and all the copyrights of course.
Hope to hear from you soon!
All the best,
Cristi

Re: HITACHI MFi-018 support?
I saw there is support for Hitachi MPI for a '96 fiat coupe but mine has Hitachi MFI.
Any chance for supporting it? I would like to buy the program but what if it's not good for my ECU?

Did you try to connect to your vehicle? Or to do a scan?hitman142006 wrote:I saw there is support for Hitachi MPI for a '96 fiat coupe but mine has Hitachi MFI.

What is the ISO code of your ECU?

I don't know exactly to tell you the iso code but I have a photo of the label that is on the ECU
No I haven't tryed connecting it. It can connect if I don't have the paid version?
I'll try it tomorrow.
All the best,
Cristi

Yes, it can connect with the free version.
But the program will only show the Info screen.

Re: HITACHI MFi-018 support?
Ok. Thanks for the fast reply. Will try it tomorrow and post the results.
Just one more thing. I have a obd2 to usb cable but I don't have the adapter. I've read that I can simply connect them by wires as follow: obd pin 4 to chassis ground, pin 5 signal ground (black wire pin), pin 5 to K line, and pin 16 to +12V.
Do you happen to know if it will be succesful like that or it's a different configuration?
Thanks in advance and all the best,
Cristi

7 -> K-line
15 -> L-line (may be needed for your ECU)
16 -> +12V
K and L lines are the 1st and 3rd pin on the 3-pin connector. The middle pin is GND.
