Hi, have just downloaded the free prog and waiting for my elm 327 to turn up, have tried to glean as much as possible from the forum etc but i have two questions before i buy the full version please.
1. Is it possible to do ECU reflashes with this programme?
2. In the list of supported vehicles it lists the Punto 55/60 which i gather is the Mk1 Punto, how is it possible to connect to these ECU's with a 16 pin KKL when all the cars of this era had the 3-pin connectors?
Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere but I dont seem to be able to find anything.
hi a newbie so please be gentle!

you should buy the adapter cable 3 pin on one side and 16 pins for the VAG, and at the other end a 3-way connector, to connect to the car

i see, thanks very much for that. Ive had a quick look on ebay etc and i see theres quite a few around. Are they generally problematic or reliable?
And could anybody tell me if ECU reflashes can be done please?

Multiecuscan can not reflash, engine remap etc. ECUs. Can only read data, drive actuators and set parameters that were designed to be modified. e.g. turning on/off reverse parking sensors.

ok thanks again.
i noted that the engine ecu isnt listed for a 500 1.2 8valve, is this just an omission or will it not work? is it possible to go in via the Panda route instead.
it seems to be an impressive programme, but for those of you who use this day in day out, do you think its strong enough to be relied upon if in use for a Fiat specialist, seeing as Examiners are so hard to find?
