ELM 327 INTERFACE Supports all ODBII protocols

Post by Jordano »

Hi, i have a registred copy of fiat ecuscan and the usb interface elm 327.

Yesterday i was forced to reinstall the os, and now when i plug in my interface windows xp doesn't display that it's an usb to serial interface, but a Ross-tech HEX-USB. and so i can't install the drivers for the COM ports and i can't use ecuscan anymore..

can someone help me please?

as you said, it seems to be a OS issue, not a multiecuscan problem.

Try to reinstall the cable driver from original cd, o try to download official ftdi drivers..
use always the same usb port...and make some try :D

I agree with EnIgMa! Just reinstall the cable drivers... ftdi drivers... It should work! ;)

i've tried also on another pc with windows 7 and it displays the rosstech hex-usb interface :(

in windows xp i put the ftdi drivers path inside the driver installation (it display rosstech hex-usb also on another 2 pc :( ) but it ignore me and it install the rosstech hex-usb driver.

:(
