airbag connection

hi guys have twin spark spider. airbag light on .have vag-k-can cable &fiatscan can read ecu ok have bridged pins 7 &3 but cannot get airbag connection all help appreciated

Same problem with my Stilo MW JTD and Multipla JTD. I can connect OK to the engine, ABS, Steering but with the airbag it always comes up with the error "No ECU response, Check your cable and serial port settings".
The "Test" function in Fuatecuscan appears to show a good connection:

I have tried all sorts of options in Device manager. I have tried pin 3 only connected to K-line.
Any ideas anyone?

i think you need a VAG COM KKL cable not a VAG K CAN cable!
i have VAG KKL cable and it is working with airbag ECUs!

and one more thing! you should not connect pins 7 and 3. it is not recommended!
