Getting Started (driver woes)

Post by ant_j »

Hi all,

So I have my generic vag-com cable and 3 pin connector for ecu.
Vag com came with cd for rosstech drivers which i installed.

Went to car (bravo hgt 155), connected ecu up to laptop, used red and black for live and earth (which just turned the led on the vag lead).
Opened ecu scan, clicked connect and just got alone the lines of cannot read ecu check port and coble connected. Port correct & ignition was on also.

So I think I may have incorrect drivers.
Uninstalled all ross tech drivers and software, can some point me in right direction for drivers?

Thanks in advance

M8 for VagCom interface you can use the FTDI drivers from their web site or you can download it from this link.

Good luck
