Alfa Romeo 159 JTDm odometer

Is this ok, that on the dashboard there is mileage 49 000km, and FES odometer shows 0 km? On the another car on dashboard there is about 90 000 and FES shows 356 km. Is that means that there was done something with the orginal mileage?

I think that FES can not read mileage on almost all Alfa Romeo vehicles. I have been testing some Alfas 147 and Alfas 156 and the only car that is showing correct mileage is for Alfa 156 between 2001 and 2005. But it doesn’t show 100% correct. It can lie up to 2% or 3%. Example: on board is 200 000 km and on FES is 195 000 km or 196 000 km. Most FIAT and LANCIA vehicles have same problems. You can find some details here:

I've found Alfa 159 1.9 JTDm where I'm 100% sure of the mileage, and when I connected to ECU, FEC's odometer shows 1% difference
My opinion is if there wasn't done anything with the mileage, FES odometer should show the true mileage.
