Im owner of a Alfa 156 2.0TS M1.5.5
I was about to buy a copy of your software, but then I realized that in the front page it says that it doesn't support idle acurator reset until next version.
When in timeline is this available?

90 seconds on MAR position -> 90 seconds off position -> 90 seconds idle (during this time do not touch accelerating pedal in any case)AlfaRickard wrote:Hi,

I did this methodes and it works like a charm for me.
Some methods which you can use to reset your ECU & throttle:
a.
Using the Examiner to reset your ECU
1. Get your mechanic to use the Examiner to reset your ECU (unless of course you have one at home lar)
2. Start the engine but do not touch the throttle and let the car idle for 15 mins otherwise the car will not rev freely afterwards
3. Turn the car off and leave for 10 mins
4. Start the car and take her for a blast
b. Manual process
1. Disconnect the negative lead from the battery for a minimum of 45 minutes. Some people recommend overnight but that is not really necessary.
2. Reconnect the battery negative lead
3. Put key in ignition, turn to MAR and leave for 90 secs
4. Turn off the ignition, but not remove the key and leave for 90 secs
5. Start the engine but do not touch the throttle and let the car idle for 15 mins otherwise the car will not rev freely afterwards (as V6 owners know at their peril)
6. Turn the car off and leave for 10 mins – key must be out
7. Start the car and take her for a blast
Note:
Blue = ECU Reset
Orange = Throttle reset
For the more impatient folks:
For step 1, disconnect cables from battery and just apply a wire across the positive and negative wires (NOT on the battery!) to clear any residual memory/charge - you don't then need to wait 45 mins!

Mr "Unnecessary" did you read and understad what I wrote?
There is a "NOTE" - blue for ECU reset and orange for Throttel reset.
If you want to do just thottel reset, all what is wrote with blue fonts are "unnecessary"
90 sec on idle of course you got right but the procedure contain ECU resset too and in this case I couldn't write twise 90 sec on idle and in the next to write 15 min idle because this creat a confusion.
Now it is clear?
