Hi, my air bag warning light is on.

I used Multiecuscan 2.3.1 to get the fault.

Can you confirm whether the free version of multiecuscan can clear the following fault

22 - Curtain air bag squib (passenger) Value too high Present 140

Or do I need to buy the full version?

You have 2 options with this error:
1. Option: sometimes connectors under the seat lose the connection especially during car wash – you CAN clear the AIRBAG fault with FREE version - common problem,
2. Option: car had accident and the airbags were opened and later replaced with new or used one - you CAN NOT clear the AIRBAG fault – you need to change the AIRBAG ECU or to flash the AIRBAG ECU.

This code "22" it is about the "Ignition circuit, window bag, passenger side"
I mean that it is about the curtain from passanger side ( it is place over the window on the passanger side). The connector for this airbag is in the trunk not under the passanger seat.
So first of all try to clean that connector and if it dosen't turn your light off you have to change the the ignition squib.
After 10 years it is necessary to change that squibs ( not everytime but sometimes it needs to do that)
