I did a lot of tests with ELM 1.4 but, unfortunately, it simply does not want to connect with Fiat's airbags.
I don't know why and it does not provide any feedback (no errors, just does not connect). According to the ELM documentation everything should work but it does not.
Anyway, I plan record the communication between the ELM and the ECU and try see why it does not work but I don't know when this will happen.

Meanwhile, I'm also testing the OBDKey interface which seems to have some better features than the ELM interface.
And, I'm also testing with Bluetooth ELM, but this BT technology has a mind of its own...

Today i connected on airbag (fiat punto 2003) with elm 327 1.4.I will test on other fiat.

Can you clarify if we are talking CAN or KKL interface airbag connection, or both with the ELM 1.4 interface?

I think, but will check again when I get a chance, I connected perfectly OK to Croma CAN interface airbags.

Here we talking about Airbag on K-line not on CAN
On CAN it is perfect, not problem at all.
I'm talking with Ivica21 for a time and he told me he could to connect to the Airbag on his car.
To be more specific he must to try to connect to his cars Airbag with an VagCOm interface.
If can do that, in this case ELM327 can connect to the Airbnag on K-line.
That it's what he can do it to prove, or maybe we talking about diffrent ELM327 v1.4 interface.
I mean you can change your EKM327 v1.3a pic with an original ELM327 v1.4 like Ivica21 did and it will work.
But the ELM327 v1.4 interface have something more, I mean a modification to reduce power.

Today I recived an ELM327 v1.4 and I tested on my wife car an Alfa 147 1.6TS 88Kw 2001.
Everything is fine but I tried to connect to the AIRBAG
Airbag on k-line (pin3).
When I tried to connect the sw asked me to use an VagCom 409.1 interface for that.
So I'm curios that Ivica21 had the same message or he didn't.

Everyone should get this message. It doesn't matter if you have ELM 1.3 or ELM 1.4.

No, ELM doesn't support KWP81 (Fiat 9141) protocol which is used for AirBag diagnostic...
