Hello, I am trying to do a proxy alingment on my 2017 fiat 500x but I am having some trouble with connecting the car to multiecuscan.
I have bought a normal ELM 327 cable from amazon that supposedly works with multiecuscan, but when I try to connect to the car it pops an error in MES, something like: "try to set your interface to an ELM highspeed cable" ; but when I set the interface to a highspeed cable, it pops a new error, something like: "error with the BCM, chech the configurarion of the cable and interface".
So I think that my problem is that my ELM cable is not the right one, so I am looking for an interface that comes pre-modified for Fiat/Alfa Romeo (since mine is not modified). Does anyone have a specific recommendation for a reliable unit? I should also mention that I already have the full set of colored adapters (yellow, blue, etc.), so I just need a high-quality, compatible interface to connect them to. Thanks!

I use MultiEcuScan Multiplexed with an CanTieCar adapter. Never any problems. No need for coloured adapters.

I use OBDLINK SX. No problems. However depending on car system/node you will need the relevant adaptor cable(s).
