Engine problem
Engine problem
Wonder if you ever did some testing with the program. And after you have managed to wipe out the effects of the tests, reporting the initial settings of the car itself

Re: Engine problem
Hi,
I don't quite understand what you are saying and what is the problem,
but it is NOT possible to do any damage to your injectors with the actuator tests.
You did not say what type is your engine, but I guess that it is EDC15C7. It is the only one that has 3rd piston deactivation. When you turn the key to OFF the ECU restores ANY changes that you have made using the actuator tests.

Re: Engine problem
I asked, after tests on the third piston and addressing injectors (do not remember if you call so your test) may cause problems like mine. In practice, after these tests, I feel a strong vibration on the engine. The mechanic told me it could be the injectors.
I ask because the problem occurred after using the program. I do not blame the program I just want to know if I have to avoid certain tests which could cause problems.
One other thing I wanted to know if the program there may be some applications that might cause problems, or whatever you do can cause problems even before starting the tests that ask for confirmation?
Thanks!

Re: Engine problem
Hi,
All tests from the "Actuators" window are temporary. This means that any changes you do with these tests (open/close a valve, turn on/off relays, etc.) will be restored as soon as you turn the key to OFF.
"Adjustments" however do permanent changes to the calibrations/settings of the ecu. All of these tests do ask for confirmation before execution.
Which test is causing the vibration? Does it go off after you turn the key OFF and the re-start the engine?
You say something about the injectors. Did you change the class of the injectors? If that is the case then you have to set the correct class for your injectors - the correct class is written on top of each injector. Usually all 4 injectors have the same class.
I have EDC15C7 and have made all possible tests with it. It cannot be broken.

Re: Engine problem
I tried to call the class of injectors but nothing I tried other classes but also does the same thing ...
The problem does it just turn on the engine, after a while 'in motion and that the vibration goes away.
This only happens in power after that and a bit 'on and the problem goes away if I turn off the engine and turn on it does it again.
Once written the class of injectors that change where you write?
In the unit? O in a unit dedicated solely to the injector?
I have also removed the map from the unit and I loaded again, but nothing changes
(ECU EDC15C7 stilo 1,9 115cv)
