I'm having an issue on my 2022 Giulia Veloce (US) with enabling race mode. I have the following:
Paid version of Multiecuscan
Windows 11 laptop
OBDLink SX cable from Amazon
Alfissimo SGW Bypass
Alfissimo ELM USB cable
the OBDLink cable was recognized in multiecuscan as that with a baud rate of 115400. I'm able to scan all modules with no errors. I can connect to the engine without issue. I can't connect to the BCM for the proxi alignment. It gives the error "Empty Proxi File". I've tried messing with settings and changing baud rate to 38400, but the OBDLink cable only works with the original settings.
I got the ELM cable from Alfissimo, next. Multiecuscan recognizes it as an ELM cable with a baud rate of 38400, but not as the high speed version. I get the "need high speed" error when using it this way. I changed it to the ELM high speed with baud rate of 38400 and it can connect. I still get the same proxi error as before.
I'm not sure what to do at this point. I did read that some ELM cables need to be modified, but I didn't want to do that before I asked. Any ideas?
2022 Giulia - Empty Proxi File
Re: 2022 Giulia - Empty Proxi File
either noise on CAN bus and body ECU returns empty proxi list or someone in the past replaced BCM or deleted proxi config.
