Won’t connect when doing proxy setting

Hi , trying to fit a tft speedo in a 2009 abarth 500 .
After checking first for any error codes with original speedo in place , we fitted the 2014 tft speedo plugged in the multi scan and for some reason it wouldn’t connect or throw us out .

We tried plugging the multi scan into my friends abarth 500 and it connected straight away .

Any ideas what could be causing the issue with my car ?

What adapter are you using?

Some adapters you need to plug in to your laptop first with the usb, because if you insert them in the car first it will activate the bluetooth mode on the dongel.
