Hi there,
At my wits ends with this so this is my final cry for help.
Issue: Power steering keeps cutting out, as a result a list of warnings come with it and need a true diagnosis before buying a new steering column.
I've bought two ELM 327 Wi-Fi plug ins, Yellow A3 cable, and downloaded the free version of MES. I then get the "Connection failed! You need the ELM 327 adapter..." Or "ELM 327 does not support v1.3/CAN Commands" Admittedly they are cheap adapters but ones I have been recommended by other alfa users.
Connection Process: OBD into cable, into car.
Select interface in settings "ELM 327/Generic OBD Wi-Fi"
Click connect bottom right.
MES asks if I would like to configure the interface.
Asks if I am using Yellow A3 adapter (Yes)
FAILED TO CONNECT.
As I said, I am here for guidance so kind messages please. Thank you in advance.

Quite some expierence with Mito's, if the battery gets a little weak you get power steering problems. The car starts and cranks just fine. Try to install a GOOD battery. (Varta silver always does the trick for me)
