New user. Advantages of MES over other apps

Hi. I'm new to MES and have got a very basic question - will it give me more information about the problem than other apps like CarScanner [read/erase error code] + live data. Does MES pinpoint problem in detail rather than just list the error code?

MES does provide the sort of information you are looking for. How it compares to other tools is something you need to check yourself.

For MES then:

1) User Manual has a lot of info and examples. See: https://www.multiecuscan.net/HowToUse.aspx

3) Download the free version. The free version has a "Simulate" function (F10) where you can see example what MES can do but with example data

One thing MES can do which some others can not is "Custom Proxy" Alignment. Others can do a basic Proxy Alignment which allows the cars original equipment to be registered etc. A Custom Proxy is where you can alter the car's Proxy Data/DNA/Configurations to support different units/functions. etc. I'm not a Proxy expert so you will have to do alternative research here on these forums and elsewhere.
