Unable to access engine ECU after remap // Abarth 500

Hi all,

Has anyone been unable to access the engine ECU after having a remap done?

MES can access all other modules, except for the engine ECU.

I've plugged in a Lufi XF and other similar OBD2 reading/diagnostic devices and none will connect at all.

The car is a 2011 UK. I'm also running a 2016+ TFT speedo.

Probally the tuner/ somebody who did the remap, has put a block to the ecu

Presumably only said tuner who is no longer trading can unlock it? Or a new map can overwrite everything?

It is difficult for another tuner to get into the ecu at this point. Like trying to guess a windows pasword (somebody told me that). Try to contact the guy who did the remap.
