Multiecuscan show completed but not applying any changes?(With no error messages)

Post by uni »

Hi all,

I recently got my 2020 Giulia and is trying to enable my new paddles and race mode. I use a red bypass cable with ELM ObdII v1.4 to connect to registered 5.1 Version MES. I read lots of threads but have never seen anyone having the same issue. Basically everything looked right but no changes applied. It's odd that after I click execute it shows completed instantly. When I disconnect and connect again it's not saved. Anyone know what's happening? Please help..

Can you explain what a red bypass cable is?

For a 2020 giulia you will need to physically bypass the sgw and have the (blue and gray?) adapter cables as well

you have to do proxi alignment after changes have been made.

Thank you! I did the proxi alignment after applying changes and they do stay in place now. Lot of service lights came up and I tried to connect to ABS and steering modules to reset them with my grey cable, it automatically paused during the middle of the process and went back to the main page. Even worse, I now have the red brake light on even with the electric park brake released, so I can't even shift to drive now. Any advice to get this fixed?
