Problems with lost Proxi Configuration

I have a 2011 Giulietta 1.4 MA 170PS with TCT gearbox. one day I tried to retrofit a new dash with the grey display and new layout and couldn't do the proxi. I observed that some values like engine and gearbox were "incorrect" so I have "fixed" them without doing a backup

now I'm not sure what the original proxi settings were and I cannot configure my car anymore

So I have 3 questions:
1. is it possible to obtain this information based on VIN number or car configuration?
2. can incorrect proxi settings like wrong engine/gearbox cause faults in ABS and/or power steering modules?
3. (unrelated) can MES software somehow read fuel trims like STFT and LTFT in Giulietta?

MES creates backup log file in MES install folder each time you connect to module. go through them and search for your proxi config.
those setting showed "incorrect" values because behind that value there are couple more and MES doesn't show them all.

1) dealer has ability to restore your proxi to it's original state.
2) yes it can.

how can I decode it to read the settings or import it in MES?

if unsuccessful is dealership my only way to go? is finding someone else with Giulietta 2011 with same engine and gearbox ok an alternative or this won't work? thanks!

No will probally not work, you will need a car with 100% same spec,

compare with your current proxi in car and see what's different. you should be interested in part starting from "87 C5..." and onwards.

great, thank you. apparently, my engine was "0.9 MultiAir" but there were 2 options like this on the list and I had the wrong one selected - only one character was different in the backup. I restored it and all errors in all modules are gone now.
