Fiat 500X Proxy

I’m Peter from the Netherlands,


I bought a Fiat 500X 1.0GSE Sport from 2020.


I bought Multiecuscan software and a elm usb on Amazon. I tryed to enable the comfor window function and did a proxy aligment what failed sadly. Now im completly stressed out. My car gives me now an error Steering wheel issue please visit garage. I think i jave a faulty elm obd reader. Is this fixable? I’m so worried i ruined my car.


I checked the elm obd and there was a lose chip in it. I ordered a new one with al the colored adaptors.



Is this a easy fix with a new proxy aligment?

I would wait till your new hardware arrives. Then connect to car and then clear any error codes. Apart from the Comfort Window function is the rest of the car OK and the odometer not flashing.

Odo is also blinking radio is not working i get an error… got an error on all the proxy components

Unless I missed it in MES there is no Comfort Window setting / adjustment.

I assume to tried a Custom Proxy data value update?

In the MES directory there should be a log file from when you did whatever you did an it may contain your original Proxy data. You can try reloading this data to put your car back to what it was before you made changes.

I can not help any more so maybe someone else can?

If not you may have to get it sorted by the Fiat dealer. There should be able to reprogram your vehicle to the original data it left the factory with or was updated by Fiat.

Did a new proxy with a new obd cable and everything went perfect. Only a error with programming airbag. Afterwards there no errors anymore.
