Problem with connection on module

Post by dusan147 »

I use MES 4.9 in combination of USB ELM327 and WiFi ELM327 (1.4 both) and blue (No.5) and gray (No.6) adapter cables for diagnostic of my Alfa Giulia 2.2 MultiJet 16v. USB interface is modified in a way described in a forum for avoid of problems in communication.

I can't to connect to ABS "Torque vectoring module (TVM)" even once. Same error (Connection failed...) appears every time.
Both interfaces works fine with other modules and with blue and gray adapter cables.
What could be source of problem?

you can't connect to TVM because you don't have it. TVM is only installed on QV models

When I goes to "Alfa Romeo Giulia 2.2 MultiJet v16" and to "ABS" module I can choice "Torque vectoring module (TVM)" as in picture below. Is it some bug, maybe?

maybe Yani didn't sort them and put everything together.
if not sure you can always press Scan F11 to see which modules your car has.

Good idea... I will try this. MES will list all modules and submodules?
Btw, my 2.2 Giulia is Veloce with Q4 and AT8.

yes. of course you'll have to use blue and gray adapters too.

Sorry to bump an old thread but I have this same issues.

I have a 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia Super with the performance pack (adaptive supension, lsd and paddles)

Just done a service on the lsd and can’t access the TVM module same issue as described here any ideas ?

mate, have you even tried to read thread? there is clear answer right there why TVM is not accessible to you.
