Hello,
Ive got a 60 plate Fiat 500 Pop 1.2 with an airbag failure light. I am getting a ORC B0101-16 DTC. Is this going to be an Aibag ECU replacement/Repair? or is it worth looking else where for connection issues? Battery?
Any recommendations for places that repair the modules?
Thanks in advance.

Re: ORC B0101-16 - Replacement Airbag ECU?
On the 500X B0101-16 is a follows:
DTC\ORC6_Occupant_Restraint_Control(BOSCH)_EMEA\ --> Power Supply - Circuit voltage below threshold B0101-16
Check the battery charge
Check for the presence of oxidised or corroded terminals on the battery connectors
Check battery wiring correct continuity
Check correct insulation to earth of the battery wiring
Poor power in modern cars can cause all sorts of errors on the various control modules. In this case the Airbag unitis troubled by poor power supply and has turned the light on.
Besides checking the battery side also check the airbag unit connectors. NOTE! disconnect the main battery and leave car to stand for 5 minutes before playing with the airbag connections!
