Alfa 156 V6 2.5 MY 2000

Post by slick77250 »

Hello everybody,

I have a little issue with MES 4.7 and elm327 interface on my alfa romeo 156 V6 2.5 190CV (11/1999).
In fact, after connection to the ECU Bosch module, the panel (or screen) "F7 adjustments" doesn't appear, so I can't reset self learnt functions.
How can I fix this issue?
Thanks a lot

there is no "adjustment" tab for this engine. you can connect through simulation mode and check it yourself.

you can try to do this:

- to perform self-learn for the throttle idle (do not press accelerator, brake and clutch pedals!):
1. turn key to MAR for 60 seconds
2. turn key to STOP for 15 seconds
3. turn key to MAR

Thank you very much for your answer. Can I try the well known ÉCU reset for alfa owners (disconnect battery for 45 minutes, start the engine for 10 minutes without pressing any pedals, stop and wait for 10 minutes and at least go for a drive)?
Thanks very much
