wont let me connect to Bosch ME3.1 EOBD (2.0, 2.4, 3.0 V6)
i can connect to others ie 7.3.1 but not iso codes are ok but when connecting it disconnects with no error

Getting started with ELM 327 interface

NOTE: You have to solder a short wire between pins 1-7-9 of your interface's OBD connector in order to connect to ABS and Power steering ECUs. This is not required if those ECUs are on the CAN network. The EPS of Fiat Punto MK2 for example is on the can network.

What about airbags? Must modify the ELM interface? (Pin 3)

Airbags are not supported by the ELM interface!
Only TRW 03 airbag is supported with ELM interface because it is on the CAN network and does not require any modification to the interface.
