Options for a 1996 Barchetta

Hi everyone,

I am trying to work out my best options to connect to the Hitachi ECU on my 1996 Barchetta. One of my challenges is that I don't have a Window laptop. I do have a:

• Autel AP200
  EML 327 Wireless only
  VCDS Hexnet
  A OBDII / 3Pin connector
  iPad

From trying to use the EML 327 wireless it appears that you can only use CANtieCar. Options appear to be:

Option 1.
Buy a Windows laptop. Will I be able to use the VCDS Hexnet or do I need the VAG KKL USB cable?

Option 2
Buy a MultiECUScan Multiplex for GBP249. Should this work and would it connect wirelessly to the iPad?

Any help would be really appreciated.
