"Performance Limit" de-activation?

Hi, ive just been lookng through the settings on my multiecuscan for Fiat 500 twinair, ive seen an adjustment for "performance Limit" deactivation, i realise this sounds pretty self explanitary but as it says that this operation can be performed only once and the function cannot be re-activated anymore i dont want to mess anything up

Can anyone shed any light on this function please?.........

Yes the vehicles leave the factory with full engine performance restricted. Part of the PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection) done by the dealer to turn that off.

The is also a similar "Logistics Mode" setting that I believe essentially puts the car into a low battery power state for transportation and storage period times which could be long.

I do not know for sure but on some vehicles the engine performance restricted and logistics mode functions may be combined together as one or other of the functions/settings.

Tutte le auto turbo a benzina hanno questo comando da sbloccare prima della consegna al cliente.
Se é attiva questa funzione il motore non va oltre 2000 o 2500 giri.
Nelle twinair,1.0 e 1.3 firefly e 1.4 tjet e Abarth,quando si fa la preconsegna,si disattiva il logistic mode sul bodycomputer e limitazione potenza sulla centralina motore.
Sulle hybrid invece,si disattiva il logistic mode e poi si attiva la funzione di carica batteria al litio.

So hi Alex-et3. As you have our attention can you answer a question about the later Fiats, especially the 500X? MES supposedly has the ability to program keys and other functions that require the vehicles security code. However it is my understanding that the security code system for the 500X/others is no longer used and the dealer/other can not get the code. Instead they have to connect with WiTECH etc. to Fiat's server systems and the security validation is done automatically based on VIN.

Is this correct?

Or is the above Method 1 but there is an alternative security code that can be manually entered into MES.

Si suppone che MES abbia la capacità di programmare chiavi e altre funzioni che richiedono il codice di sicurezza del veicolo. Tuttavia mi risulta che il sistema del codice di sicurezza per la 500X / altri non sia più utilizzato e il rivenditore / altro non possa ottenere il codice. Invece devono connettersi con WiTECH ecc. Ciao!si esatto,la memorizzazione chiavi la si fa solo online collegati con il server fca,in quanto il codice che prima era sulla tessera ora viaggia online.
Io neppure lo vedo il codice,fa tutto witech.
