Hi,
Since a couple of days I'm receiving a time-out when trying to connect to any car.
I tried on a Mito and a Giulietta, both without succes. It worked perfectly in the past.
I checked the settings and the OBD cable is recognised on the correct COM-port. I reinstalled the drivers, plugged it in a different USB-port, fiddled around with the BPS-rate, checked and unchecked high-latency mode,... nothing helped.
Did anyone have the same issues and if yes, how did you fix it?
I'm using:
- Universal ELM327 cable
- MES 4.5 (registered) on a Windows 10 laptop
Time-Out on connection
Re: Time-Out on connection
I might have a similar problem, on MES 4.6R1.
The software cannot connect to interface (Obdlink SX), probably because there is no baud rate option "1000 000". It seems the interface needs it. I posted a topic about it.

Re: Time-Out on connection
I contacted Obdlink SX support people and they were very helpful.
They sent me a file to factory reset the device: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Vl9OVAuwjNe2qHstFcAgK4mFHsg1yTnI/view?usp=sharing
After the light blinks a few times, set the baud rate to 115200. After this multiecuscan connected.
