Punto 1,3JTD no connection - solved

Hi everybody

I tried connect my Punto 1,3 JTD 2004 with multiecuscan 2.1 but no connection. I have KKL line cable and ELM327 ver. 1.5. The LEDs are flashing on ELM327 during connection but ECU no connection. If I use ELM327 with other diagnostic SW (for example ScanMaster) I connect to ECU is OK.

Does anybody help me solve this problem ?

Do you have set the correct port Com?

Yes of course I have written that the LEDs ELM327 are flashing when the multiecuscan try to connect with ECU

ScanMaster after connect wrote : ELM327 interface ver 1.5 . Can be possible that this problem is HW ELM327 - some chinese product ? Somebody says me that official and working version hw is only 1.3 and 1.4 now. Our opinions ?

Hi,

Get the new version. I added a Test for the ELM interfaces in the Settings window. You can click on the Test button and see the version of your ELM interface and also see if it responds OK to various important commands.

Hi,

problems are resolved

1. KKL cable - OK . In the notebook there was installed some original HP driver for USB convertor - probably some collisions with ftdi drivers
I have uninstalled all USB drivers and install ftdi drivers now - all is OK

2. ELM327. I have borrowed ELM327 version 1.3 and communication witH ECU is OK now. I have bought some chinese fake probably - the FW version is 1.5a

Notice : version 1.5 works with other diagnostic SW sometimes for example ScanMaster 2.0 but not correctly too !!!! ECU Fiat is OK; Alfa, Opel no connection
