I have a problem with my ELM327, i try to connect it to my Fiat Ducato but appear one error when I connect, "ELM327->ECU Connection Failed!". The ELM pass all the connection test.
Can you help me to now what is the resistor that i need to remove?
Hi crowd,
I have Vgate icar Wi-Fi module running normaly with all IOS/Android apps.
When i use it with my MES v4.2 it connects to all CAN devices.
Here comes the weird part - it cannot connect to Engine ECU and Transmission ECU. The car is Lancia Delta 2010 1.8 TBI oro sportronic.
Either connection with the powertrain modules is a higher speed CAN and the termination capacitors are too big (?) or there is a protocol missmatch.
Any ideas?

This is my ELM327 adapter
Can sombedy help what resistor i need to remove?
thank you
Did you get it working somehow? I have the same device. It passes every test saying it's compatible with ELM 1.4, but does not communicate with a car.
Easiest way to get it working is getting a new cable. Cheap clones don't work, you have to buy something as "Fiat modified cable" or "multiecuscan modified cable". They cost about $25, but they will work. I have bought three Chinese USB cables for $8 each plus one BT for $5 and they just will not work with my car. It cost me THE SAME as working cable + many months of waiting. It's not worth it.

Tryed Torque, AlfaOBD on Android and Car Scanner on Windowsphone. Car Scanner trows out a Warning "Bad ELM Clone" , Torque sticks in a loop trying to find "Model".
Someones got this one running?
I've got the same interface but I haven't found anything about this board. Someone can help us, please?
