Hi all,
I bought MES to work with my girlfriends FIAT500. I didn't realise I'd need an adaptor to get to a load of the modules. I am using an old bluetooth ELM doodah I bought to use with torque years ago. It seems to work fine with the engine/gearbox etc. but not with the stuff I need the adaptor for.
My question is will the adaptor work with a bluetooth ELM thingy or do I need a USB one.
Also where is the best place to buy the adaptors from, I'm looking at this set on ebay.

Thanks,
Chris
Adaptors with Bluetooth
Re: Adaptors with Bluetooth
First of all regarding adaptor cables I suggest using Gendan, a UK approved supplier.
See: https://www.gendan.co.uk/product_FESCBL.html
This has *ALL* of the current required adapters and their customer service is excellent.
I'm not a Blue Tooth user but Blue Tooth or hard wired should not make any difference *if* you have a quality Blue Tooth (BT) unit. BT has been an issue for some in the past. Either way BT or hardwired (ELM, KKL, OBFLINK) you will need the cable set to connect to the differing nodes (vehicle determined).
