Use of MES

Please can you advise what is necessary to use MES on my laptop (running Windows 10) to be able to reset my Service interval data after carrying out an oil/filter change service? I have already downloaded an installed version 3.6 and bought the relevant interfaces together with a modified ELM adaptor, but cannot get past the "test" procedure as I always get a "timed out" message. My car is a Fiat 500C 2013 model and I am using the yellow connector. Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have not used MES to reset my service changes but you can get rid of the light by following this procedure

1- Turn your key to the auxiliary ON position (One turn before start)
2- Fully depress the gas pedal 3 times
3- Turn key to off position
